I was invited by Galerie Artline, Delft to take part in Art on Paper Amsterdam in a duo show with Cy Twombly earlier this month. This was the first time I showed the Herbarium Pages all together. It is an ongoing project, so it will continue to grow, more will be added to this and some of the drawings may look familiar because they were already on show in my solo exhibition in Innsbruck last year.
This exhibition included some of my nettle drawings from my research at the Koninklijke Bibliotheek van Bëlgie (Royal Library of Belgium). That was one of the most inspiring research visits I have had for a long time and I want to thank them again for their warm welcome and for letting me see some extraordinary herbaria. It is an experience I will not forget.
