Medicinal Garden

I am researching the historical and contemporary use of medicinal plants. It is an extension of my ongoing preoccupation with plant life. Increasingly these plants are suffering stress from climate change. Their traditional uses are fading into history and their potential contemporary medicinal use is not fully explored. They are vital for sustaining insect populations. I am working on the apparently ordinary as well as the more exotic plants. This series includes the Book of Cabbage-a bound collection of cabbage drawings. The Grass Book is a herbarium of the wild flowers and herbs that grow in my lawn.
