These drawings originate from the Dutch National Cacti collection which is housed in the Botanische Tuin ZuidAs Amsterdam.

The Cactus as form and as textural object became fascinating. It is a study in texture and pattern, some of the drawings were cut or pierced to reinforce their nature.

This collection is protecting and preserving plants for prosperity by spreading these around the world as their natural habitats become inhospitable to them.
