It was a huge privilege to be a visiting researcher at the State Herbarium of South Australia and I recognise that it continues to have a big influence on me. My latest series of algae work is directly inspired from this experience.
This is a series of drawings based on Grateloupia filicina. These can be read as series of individual drawings or as a single work made of 15 parts.
They are loosely bound in a “herbarium” box.
